” Grandma, how do you deal with pain?”

Image may contain: one or more people and outdoor

” Grandma, how do you deal with pain?”
” With your hands, dear. When you do it with your mind, the pain hardens even more rather than relieving yourself.” ” With your hands, grandma?”
” Yes, yes. Our hands are the antennas of our soul. When you move them by sewing, cooking, painting, touching the earth, or sinking it into the earth, they send signals of caring to the deepest part of you and your soul calms down.
This way she doesn’t have to send pain anymore to show it.
” Our hands really that important?”
” Yes, my girl. Thinking of babies: they get to know the world thanks to their touches.
When you look at the hands of older people, they tell more about their lives than any other part of the body. Everything that is made by hand so is said, is made with the heart because it really is like this: hands and heart are connected. Masseuses know this: When they touch another person’s body with their hands, they create a deep connection. Thinking of lovers: When their hand’s touch, they love each other in the most sublime way.”
” My hand’s grandma… how long haven’t I used them like that!”
” Move them, my girl, start creating with them and everything in you will move. The pain will not pass away. But it will be the best masterpiece. And it won’t hurt anymore. Because you managed to embroider your essence.”

Original Sovereign Tribal Federation

A major purpose of the Original Sovereign Tribal Federation is to unite Original society nationally. This purpose comes about through the vision to re-dignify relations with self and between genders and clans.

“National unity through the OSTF provides a foundation for practical, ethical and cultural practices from which to reach out to non-indigenous society.”

Underlain by the cultural responsibilities of Original Law that has been the stabilizing force of Original society for ten’s of thousands of years and the support of Ancestors who have gone before, OSTF enables a development of cultural law to uphold a new paradigm of caring for people and country in this post-modern era.

The OSTF is on the edge between traditional Original society and postmodern Australian society. The ‘Edge’ is a term for a transition zone between, for example, ecologies, cultures, paradigms, trade or geographical boundaries. In ecological terms, the edge is the place that is richest in species, habitats and interactions because it is the interface between two environments.

The Original Sovereign Tribal Federation is poised on an intercultural boundary, rich in possibility for the development of modern Original culture as an integral part of a holistic vision for all Australians.

A catalyst for the OSTF is the discontent arising from numerous, ineffectual assimilation policies perpetrated under British Sovereign law, since the illegal settlement of Australia by Britain over 200 years ago.

Ineffectual from an Original viewpoint because the patent disregard of settlers towards the oldest continuous culture on Earth; born of ignorance, self-interest and avarice, produced tragic hardship, inequality and abasement of the physical and cultural dignity of a whole people.

Ineffectual from a settler perspective, because the British and Christianizing agendas have failed to assimilate the traditional Original culture.

Two hundred years on, intercultural relations remain generally fraught, frustrated and confrontational.

While thousands of scholars, governmental and non-governmental representatives have worked for decades, and billions of dollars have been spent, on researching, studying and planning numerous solutions, policies and practices, the intercultural edge remains chaotic and unsatisfying for both settlers and Origines.

Intractable problems and issues regarding rights to land/country, health, representation and cultural expression continue to abrade national moral integrity. Degradation of spirit abounds on both sides of the cultural divide.

National Original unity through the OSTF Treaty provides a foundation of practical, ethical and cultural practices from which Original society can reach out to non-indigenous society and take its place as a vital and invaluable contributor to Australian society and the global community.

The stabilisation of Original society by its peoples, feeds country, re-vitalizes relationships and re-dignifies life. As this renewal of country and peoples occurs, the cultural re-empowerment filters across the intercultural boundary, changing attitudes and behaviours in non-original society by osmosis.

OSTF would like to extend an invitation to your community to provide a venue and receive OSTF on behalf of your local community so as to inform our traditional elders of the sovereignty process currently being offered around remote parts of this continent.

Please view the work OSTF has been involved with recently,  as documented by Mirrial Arc-Hive Media  the Production and Archival arm to OSTF which has been filming and documenting this historical process.

VISION QUEST

“This moment humanity is going through can now be seen as a portal and as a hole.

The decision to fall into the hole or go through the portal is up to you.

If you repent of the problem and consume the news 24 hours a day, with little energy, nervous all the time, with pessimism, you will fall into the hole. But if you take this opportunity to look at yourself, rethink life and death, take care of yourself and others, you will cross the portal.

Take care of your homes, take care of your body. Connect with your spiritual House.

When you are taking care of yourselves, you are taking care of everything else. Do not lose the spiritual dimension of this crisis, have the eagle aspect, that from above, and see the whole; see more broadly.

There is a social demand in this crisis, but there is also a spiritual demand. The two go hand in hand. Without the social dimension, we fall into fanaticism. But without the spiritual dimension, we fall into pessimism and lack of meaning.

You were prepared to go through this crisis. Take your toolbox and use all the tools available to you.

Learn about resistance of the indigenous and African peoples: we have always been and continue to be exterminated. But we still haven’t stopped singing, dancing, lighting a fire and having fun. Don’t feel guilty about being happy during this difficult time.

You do not help at all being sad and without energy. You help if good things emanate from the Universe now. It is through joy that one resists. Also, when the storm passes, each of you will be very important in the reconstruction of this new world.

You need to be well and strong. And, for that, there is no other way than to maintain a beautiful, happy and bright vibration. This has nothing to do with alienation.

This is a resistance strategy. In shamanism, there is a rite of passage called the quest for vision. You spend a few days alone in the forest, without water, without food, without protection. When you cross this portal, you get a new vision of the world, because you have faced your fears, your difficulties …

This is what is asked of you:

Allow yourself to take advantage of this time to perform your vision seeking rituals. What world do you want to build for you? For now, this is what you can do: serenity in the storm. Calm down, pray every day. Establish a routine to meet the sacred every day.

Good things emanate; what you emanate now is the most important thing. And sing, dance, resist through art, joy, faith and love. “
Resist – Be reborn

Sunday, December 24, 2017 ~  10 am Pacific ~ 10 am to 12 Noon.

Jannie Vaught will be teaching on December theme: We sleep as the trees. How our lives closely resemble the seed. Whip and producing a tree. How we go dormant to rest and build our time of production. Let us rest when we need to. Let us grow when we are fully ready. We have the winter time of sleep. Listen to your body. Listen to your intuitions.

Jannie Vaught was born to the bird clan in 1953. Four generations of farmers who came to central calif in the dust bowl. Okies. She was called to the medicine path as a small girl. Jannie carried huge quarts everywhere as a child, everywhere she went. Jannies stone/s sat at the doorway. White quarts trained in ceremony and healing energy, also trained as herbalist and massage therapist. Jannie has always gardened. In a life ending car crash in 2009 coming out of humblecha, Jannie met the third person, yes, there was a third person in the car. Jannie had been crushed and her left unserviceable along with a triple head injury, she was taken to Gallup, New Mexico hospital. Only her my hips and legs were not broken. Jannie’s right arm was scheduled to be amputated. however on that day at the hospital there happened to be a young orthopedic surgeon his name Dr. Scott Baker. Dr. Baker was Just in from Iraq. He put my arm back on and many surgeries later, somehow the life source in her and her arm has never left. Today at 64 Jannie lives with her two daughters in the hill country of Texas. They have wind, solar power, and a permaculture garden. She started the farmer’s market, a seed library and she writes a weekly column in two local papers. Bloom where you’re planted. She is a testament to the Abounding Love of Creator. The patience and encouragement of Mother Earth. Jannie is grateful for the incredible genetics of her Cherokee, German and Irish heritage.

Grandmothers Circle a Gathering

Grandmothers Circle for 2017 – 2018

This Grandmothers Circle is a very long time coming for me and many women who will join us to learn, grow, become friends with each globally. Women from young to old are welcome. The name of the gathering, of course, came from the grandmothers who live all around us in the trees, rocks, stones, grasses, plants, the moon, and many other forms.

I went through a long period of prayer in which the grandmothers helped me to organize this online quarterly gathering. The grandmothers named it so that we remember we are coming for them, for the grandmothers in this world who need to be heard by us to communicate to the rest of the world. To be a steward for any needs they may have, especially when they ask us for our help. The grandmothers also wanted me to hold the energies of the number four, this is why we are meeting quarterly. Four corners are needed for a foundation, four seasons, four directions where the grandmother’s strengths are.

My main intention is to learn from each other in very Native, Original, Ancient, traditional and Indigenous ways. To learn to make right with everything that is so wrong, in a good way, in relationship to All Our Relations.

No matter what names we call her, the grandmother she is the constant adaptation, working to flourish no matter what, she is the intentions to the details we overlook as young women, the very simple ceremonies, rites, and attention to the care, nurturing and faith of our world. We get caught in the futuristic world sold to us by any means to hook us, stall us and hold us, we become the prisoner, instead of the keepers, co-creators, birther’s alongside the grandmothers to cure, fix, heal, sow a new future.

This gathering is about women, young, confused, lost, emotional, old, free, chained, afraid, in joy coming together to learn the ways, ancient ways lost from our cultures about the medicines of the grandmothers, our ancestors and of course La Madre Tierra, Mother Earth and one of my favorites Pachamama!

Come as you are, learn with us, build with us, love with us and of course gather with us.

Grandmothers Circle a Gathering

Final message from Atsila

I want to thank Bridgette personally for standing with me as we tried to revamp and reenergize The Free Cherokees, but as the founder, Sings-Alone said, “You have to decide where you put your life’s energy and is it worth it or draining the energy.” I had hoped to bring teachings and eventually gatherings to the people once we were all more on the same page, a level playing field if you will, so we would all be speaking the same language and have cultural understandings to draw from. I was told, that the Lakota teachings were not wanted but Cherokee teachings. I can only offer what I know and honor what I have been taught through my lineage and be true to those teachings. I do know Cherokee medicine teachings but chose to first offer where my heart and feet walk and that is the Good Red Road from my Lakota lineage.
As Bridgette has said, we gave it a go. It takes a lifelong learning and a community to make ceremony happen and to pull off a gathering, a few wanted it but the community concept which is the foundation of all we do, was elusive, so teachings were offered first in hopes of building that community but to no avail.

So, as the last Principal with the council, it is time to journey on to a new day in the direction Creator has us go. I was honored to walk with you for the time allotted and wish you all blessings and balance and pray you each finds your teachers upon the good Red Road.

For those few I was working with, I leave that door open to continue walking with you and learning together.

I wish you all gentle winds, strong bodies and minds and the love of family, friends, and community. May you walk softly on and in balance,
Mitakuye Oyasin,

Wopila

Changes at the Red Road Society Effective October 9, 2017

I have been asked by the amazing Principle Chief of the in the Past Free Cherokee and the recent attempt to move towards the Red Road Society. This message is to inform you of events that have taken place over the last year and where it all stands today and what the future is.

Early this year Principle Chief created an Inner Hoop Council to help her and support the work needed in order to realign the Free Cherokee in a good way. It became obvious to the council early on that the Free Cherokee was not in alignment with the traditional Native ways anymore, there was issues, concerns from other Native peoples about many of the Free Cherokee ways.

The Inner Council voted to change from the Free Cherokee to the Red Road Society to re-establish what was good and to let go what was not serving anymore.

I offered to build the website at that time, I bought the domain and hosting and began building. Over several meetings and several months we meet and discussed much of the stuff that made it onto the website. There were so many issues to deal with, try to overcome. We did it though and I got the website up.

This part is not to do harm to anyone, it is not meant to be disrespectful in any way, it is why we are here where we are at now and must be understood for the good of all.

The Principle was putting out teachings about the Lakota way and the seven directions. Only 3 people showed up to the last teaching online she gave for the Red Road Society.

We understand that people have their lives, but it became an impossible feat by those involved to get any interest in the Red Road Society and to be honest there were just not many confirmed members from the Free Cherokee anymore.

Two weeks ago, we had to call it quits. I was getting ready to launch a website educational plan to try to get more interest in what we were doing, our visions and goals. The motivation just was gone. The Principle officially has closed the Free Cherokee and Red Road Society.

The Future.

I have recently removed all the past information of the Red Road Society website http://redroadsociety.com/ . I have asked permission to keep it and it was granted by the Principle to use for my own work. There is an email contact page if you wish to contact me on the rrs site. I am moving activities, blogs, events to the facebook page: Ministry of Consciousness & Snake Clan if you would like to keep informed about Red Road Society. The Ministry Of Consciousness is the Legal shelter of the Red Road Society, the Mother if you will. Postings about the Red Road Society will be on the Ministry of Consciousness & Snake Clan FB Page and

http://redroadsociety.com/ .

I will be offering so much on the Red Road website in the near future. I have a trading post for all Native, Indigenous, Original goods people can email with goods, products, and medicines. I would be honored to help.

There will be a women’s group that will I hope to start next month to share, teach ceremony and medicines with each other. Medicine and Shamanic women from all over the world. This should be announced in the future. The gathering is free, but I would be great’ful for a few donations to be given whenever possible, there are many costs involved with zoom meetings, websites and sometimes traveling expenses and gas to make all this happen. Donations can be made on the front page of the http://ministryofconsciousnessnevada.org/ there is a donation area.

I am in the process of creating the International Association of Original Medicine which will house Native, Traditional and Original Medicine people from all over the world and their bloodline work. In the Future, we hope to have International Conferences and Workshops in person and online for learning, understanding such ancient medicine. All of this will also go with the twelve Conscious Medicine Center worldwide we are also working on. These centers will be international and the Original Medicine Practitioners will be the “Doctors” in these centers. We hope to have long term and short term stays, farms on site where food is grown in original ways and is made for the benefit of all during their stays.

I have been working on much of this now since 2003.

I will be using the Red Road Society website to build, inform and educate people, as well as a place where I can put the information as it comes together. It will be up to you if interested to make sure you are checking the rrs website so you know what is going on and when.

My business partner in the IAOOM or International Association of Original Medicine is an amazing man who I met several years ago. We are doing a discussion and talk together that I will record to put up on rrs website, this meeting kicks off officially the start of getting much of this workout. The foundation I guess. He name is Muwonge Hassan and he is Traditional Medicine Man from Uganda like I said amazing and I am so lucky to have these amazing people around me, working with me and helping me to bring medicine back to the world in the way it was made, created and designed. Look for our recorded dialog on the rrs site towards the end of October. Until then enjoy the first in-person conversation I had with him after a year of emails. This was an interview I did with him when I had my online TV show/s. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEtLz88-Oz4

In closing and out of honor and respect “we” felt we should let you know where things stand now and where they are headed for the future.

In Service,

All My Relations,

Bridgette Lyn Dolgoff
